There is nothing worse for mental health than chronic pain.  That's why I make pain management a priority in my life!

Every winter, I struggle with aches and pains, headaches, and fatigue. Last year, I discovered a  muscle rub that I love! Anytime, my neck felt stiff and achy, I would rub the muscle rub on and sleep so much better! 

Also, a daily magnesium, vitamin d, vitamin b, and omega 3 has been wonderful for the unrest I've been feeling in my body. I take a shot of my antioxidant juice with them. It really takes the edge off during the homeschool day when wine isn't an option!

Breathing!  

When was the last time you stopped to think about your breathing?  We take it for granted everyday.  What if I told you that if you just took 5-10 minutes everyday to focus on your breathing, your overwhelm would drastically change?  Give it a try!  

Choose a video from my YouTube channels Blue Sky Kids Yoga or Tanya Milano Snell.  Do the same one everyday or mix it up!

For me, a breathing (pranayama) session is often the best choice when I need an almost-immediate result. Whether I need to calm my nervous system or a quick boost of energy, there's a breathing pattern that will help, and usually just a few rounds does the trick. Long term, the practice can help with all sorts of things, including anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, improved focus, and, of course increased self-awareness.

How I broke free from stress and lost my belly fat!

Stress kills!  Literally, stress will lead to death.  That is if it's chronic and persistent.  Here is an excerpt from Medical News Today about cortisol, the stress hormone.

"If the communication between the brain and the adrenal gland is functioning correctly, the body should be able to increase and reduce cortisol production as necessary.

However, levels of cortisol can sometimes remain high even after the resolution of a stressful situation. This can have a negative impact on health.

Having too much cortisol in the blood can be damaging to health, particularly if cortisol levels remain high over an extended period.

Trying to lower stress levels is the best way to lower cortisol. By making simple lifestyle changes to live a healthier, more active life, people can reduce the amount of stress they experience, and keep their cortisol levels normal."


SO, Here's what helped me lose my belly fat!

I started taking Cortisol, a Young Living supplement.  I slept better, lost weight, got rid of brain fog, and also stopped overreacting to my children's behaviors.
